Loch Ness, near Inverness

Yesterday we headed off for a long drive from Glasgow to Loch Ness. Whilst on our drive we could see snow on the tops of mountains, which was very exciting as Sean and I had never seen snow before. At one stage, we hopped out of the car because it was snowing, but only just a bit. Once we reached our house we went for a walk around the property, where there was a great spot to relax right on the side of the Loch.

Today, we had a tour of Aldourie Castle straight up. The castle included 13 bedrooms, a room with a full size pool table and tv, library and many other amazing rooms. Once the tour finished  Brett Jnr, Sean, Brett Snr and I headed off for a boat ride on Loch Ness. The boat ride was aboard a boat similar to a life boat. IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!! Towards the end of the ride,we got to sit on the edge of the boat which was really fun. Once that adventure was over, we headed back home. Our day was coming to an end. We had dinner at a  nice restaurant called, "Dore's Inn" - a cosy spot to eat overlooking the Loch.
