After a couple of slow days due to Brett Jnr's illness, we managed to have a more fulfilling day today. Sean, Brett Snr and I headed out to Roland Garros Tennis Centre and Museum first. We enjoyed the 11am tour of the press room, players' areas and clay courts. The museum was no match for Wimbledon's but had some unusual tennis art sculpture and French Open memorabilia.
Soon after lunch, Eloise, Brett and I dropped into designer, Masha Keja's "pop-up store" in the Marais. Yesterday, we bought a couple of her exquisite wallet and handbag creations from her husband, Olivier - a charming French gentleman, with a delightful sense of humour. Today, we were lucky enough to meet Masha, who was equally delightful and who graciously posed for a photo with Eloise. It is easy to see why Masha's designs are growing so much in popularity, as I had never been so mesmerised by the beautiful textures and craftsmanship of a simple fashion accessory.

By late this afternoon, Brett Jnr thought he was feeling a fraction better, so we decided to experience the Eiffel Tower at night. Of course, it was beautiful but Brett Jnr faded quickly and so we cut our night a little short. We are still hoping the thought of a white Christmas might brighten his spirits. Tricia
