Unfortunately, our plans for the last two days in Paris have been thwarted by Brett Jnr catching a nasty stomach bug. He has been bedridden, apart from a visit to the local French doctor this morning.
Eloise and I have squeezed in a little shopping and sightseeing in our own arrondissement. We particularly enjoyed La Place des Vosges today - a few minutes walk from our apartment and the first ever planned square in France. Victor Hugo once lived there for sixteen years. We also discovered the incredibly beautiful Parisian handbags of designer, Masha Keja. Sean and Brett Snr rode the Metro all the way out to Roland Garros today, only to find that it is closed to the public on Tuesdays! Perhaps another time..

We hope with some more rest and medication, soon Brett Jnr will be up, running and ready for all the skiing he is yearning to do when we hit the slopes of Bavaria! Tricia
