First Day in London

Today was our first day in London so we decided to have a look around. We first went and saw Trafalgar Square before we headed off to Buckingham Palace. Unfortunately, the moment we got there the band was marching off in the other direction but otherwise it was very impressive.  We then had a walk through St. James's Park and had a look at Big Ben. After a fair bit of walking, we decided to go back to our room. In the afternoon, we went down to the British Museum for an hour where we saw heaps of artefacts on Egypt, Greece and Rome including the Rosetta stone which was really fascinating. We then went to a nice little Italian restaurant for dinner. Tomorrow, we are taking the train to Bray to go to the Fat Duck restaurant which we are all getting really excited about.
